To serve our customer, whether they be a contractor or individual homeowner, in a friendly, professional and no-pressure manner to provide and install products that will make their home a highly-functioning, better organized and more enjoyable place to live.
About Us
Founded in 1994 by Jim Barrett, Virginia Installations, Inc. began as a local distributor of Organized Living™ closet organization systems. Over the years, we expanded to include many more products. We’re a local, family owned and operated company serving the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia.
Design Services
After precisely measuring your spaces, our design team utilizes the latest software to create beautiful, functional and innovative solutions incorporating the systems and products you choose.
Installation Services
To ensure correct installation of the products we sell, rely on our in-house team of experienced, professional installers. We maintain a fleet of service vehicles to service our clients throughout Virginia’s Shenandoah Valley in order to respond quickly and stay on schedule.
Warehouse Inventory
We think ahead, and stock many of our most popular products in our Elkton, VA warehouse, giving you immediate availability. For items we don’t stock, view our Vendor catalogs and choose from a wide array of styles, colors and price ranges. Your selections will be delivered to our warehouse and scheduled for installation.

What products do you install?
In residential construction we specialize in Closet Organization Systems by Organized Living®, Inc., and also install glass shower enclosures, door hardware, mirrors, and bath accessories. In light commercial we install toilet partitions and public restroom hardware. View our Vendors page for available product catalogs.
Will you install in my home?
Our clients are mainly contractors who build new construction and remodel residential properties. We are also happy to work with an individual on their personal home and can typically schedule a no obligation in-home consultation.
What kind of shelving do you install?
We work with the family of products offered by Organized Living®, a leading brand of high-quality home organization, shelving and storage systems, offering everything from fixed wire shelving to luxurious built-in closets.
I don’t like wire shelving, do you install that?
When we started our business, we did only install wire shelving, but we now offer many more closet options. Like you, people don’t tend to like wire. Consider the higher-end shelving products offered by Organized Living® such as freedomRail® solid adjustable shelving.
Do you do insulation?
No, but we get asked that a lot. We do installations – installing shelving and bathroom products into a home – which is something entirely different!
I see you provide mirrors. Do you offer framed, decorative mirrors?
No, we do not have a framing facility at this time, but that may change in the future!
Are you a licensed locksmith?
We don’t install safes, but we do have access to the concealment products offered by Tactical Walls.
Do you install safes?
No, but we do know a thing or two about locks and keying, and have a locksmith on our team.
